Kidnapped mobile police officer in Rivers state rescued by Vigilante group members

A mobile police officer who was hitherto in a kidnappers den, has been rescued by an organized local vigilante in Rivers state. Facebook user, Ross Alabo-George, who shared the story online, wrote

''An organized local vigilante just rescued an abducted police officer from the forest den of the kidnappers. Kidnappers arrested and handed over to the police.

This goes to show that State Police systems can be effective in supporting the fed police in intelligence gathering (at least)''.
