Arsenal are set to announce the signing of Gabriel Martinelli on Tuesday, according to reports.
The Gunners have been waiting for the Brazilian to turn 18 on Tuesday to complete the deal.
Globo Esporte says Martinelli's club Ituano will receive £6m for the young forward.
Martinelli qualifies for Italy through his father and will therefore not need a work permit to complete his move to the Gunners.
He has reportedly signed a five-year contract, becoming the north London club's first signing of the summer.
