The governor of Ondo state, Rotimi Akeredolu, has warned that under no circumstance would he play politics with his state.
Akeredolu said he would continue to render purposeful and selfless leadership that engenders all-round development in the state.
Speaking on Thursday, December 19, during the Ondo state's Carols and Lessons, the governor said he believes that every state government and its governor should be focused on people-oriented development.
He also said that development of rural areas through the construction of roads for easy facilitation and evacuation of agricultural produce from the farms will be the top priority of his administration as the dry season starts.
The governor also said that his administration is making efforts to ensure that Ondo state enjoys a great level of industrialisation.
“Rather, l would instead continue to render purposeful and selfless leadership that engenders all-round development," Governor Akeredolu said.
He further urged the people of the state to embrace and promote humanity, common good, love, peace, care and concern for one another, and most importantly, the pathway to the salvation of others.
The governor also said that his administration is making efforts to ensure that Ondo state enjoys a great level of industrialisation.
