The mother of PSG striker Edinson Cavani has confirmed offers in January from Manchester United and Chelsea.
After Cavani's agent and brother Walter hit back at Atletico Madrid claims he wanted a move for money, now his mother has weighed in.
Berta Gómez told AS: “Edinson did not want money to be a problem, because if it had been for money he would have gone to Manchester United, Chelsea or Inter Miami, who made an important offer for him.
“Let no one forget that my son has an impeccable career, he is a complete professional, and that the pressure he put on PSG with not playing to go out to Atletico is a stain on his career."
Cavani comes off contract at PSG in June.
