Bruce Willis and wife Emma Heming Willis celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary this week amid the actor's battle with dementia.
Emma, 45, said that the couple were 'stronger than ever' alongside a photo of herself and Bruce, 69, sharing a tender kiss that was shared to Instagram on Thursday.
'Today marks our 15th wedding anniversary! And today, I can make a choice. I can wallow in sorrow or I can celebrate it,' she wrote.
'I call this the "remarkable reframe." What I know is there is so much to celebrate. Our union and connection is probably stronger than ever,' she continued.
'We have two bright, fun and healthy daughters. We have a family unit that is built on mutual respect and admiration. And simply, I just love and adore the man I married. I’m so proud of what we have and continue to create. So, happy crystal anniversary to us!'

Emma's famous friends and followers commented on the post, including Maria Shriver, who wrote, 'The reframe love that we must keep reframing thru out life happy anniversary. Celebrate keep lighting the way.'
Actress Mandy Moore wrote 'happy anniversary', while Bruce's daughter Tallulah wrote, 'I love your love. And I’m so proud of you, you remarkable human being.'
In 2019, the couple celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary by renewing their vows in a touching backyard ceremony with their friends and family - including Bruce's ex-wife Demi Moore.
'On our 10th wedding anniversary we decided to renew our vows in the same place we said "I do" back in 2009. I’m so happy we did. Seize every opportunity to unite and celebrate with family and friends,' Emma said last year.
'Those are the moments and beautiful pockets of memories that you get to hold on to for a lifetime,' she continued.
'And we get to keep those memories safe and alive for the ones that might not be able to.'
It comes after Emma, 45, gushed her husband is a 'true gentle-man' with a 'pure' and 'good' core as she sang his praises on Instagram on Tuesday.

'Just like you, we simply adore him,' she posted to Instagram. 'What you might not know, but maybe you could imagine, that being wrapped in his arms is the safest place in this whole wide world.
'He's a true gentle-man. With so much love to give and share. That's what I get to see, his true core. I can tell you, it’s so pure and ever so good. Happy birthday my love. You are the gift that keeps giving.'
She posted a snap of her husband, smiling contentedly, as he held a child in his arms. The youngster could have been one of his daughters.
The post received countless comments from fans sending their birthday wishes to Bruce - including his daughter, Tallulah Willis.
'I love you so much. I love him so much! Our Pisces king!' she gushed.
Emma replied: 'You know these vibes my sweet,' she said with a heart eyes emoji and heart emoticon.

Emma has been married to Bruce since 2009 and shares daughters Mabel, 11, and Evelyn, nine with him.
He also has daughters Rumer, 35, Scout, 32, and Tallulah, 30, with his ex-wife Demi Moore.
His eldest daughter also posted her own birthday tribute, along with a slew of sweet throwback family photos of the action star with his daughter.
Rumer, who gave birth to her first child Louetta last year, raved about her father as she described him as the 'funniest' and most 'out of this world silly talented' dad.
She added his granddaughter Louetta loved him 'so big.'

'Oh Daddio, to be loved by you is such a gift,' she captioned the post. 'You are the funniest, most tender, charming, out of this world silly talented and magical papa. Looking through these photos this morning I am just filled with the deepest gratitude that we chose to spend this life together.
'I am your first baby and man sometimes I wish I could be tiny enough to just cozy up on your chest again and laugh and cuddle you. I love you so deep in my bones I don’t know how my muscles hold them.
'You are the greatest papa I could ever hope for. Thank you for your generosity, your silliness and heart. Lou loves you so big.'
It comes less than a year after his family announced he had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD) - less than one year after they announced his retirement from acting due to his battle with brain disorder, aphasia.
