Fans have spotted a “weird” detail in Kanye West’s latest racy video of wife Bianca Censori.
The rapper, 46, uploaded a bizarre clip of the Australian architect, who he wed in December 2022, on Instagram on Thursday, which shows the 29-year-old laid on a huge white bed while scrolling on her phone. Wearing a skintight lacy leotard, white tights and white heels, Bianca ignores the camera as she continues looking at her phone, while Kanye, who is recording, can be heard breathing in the background.
Eagle-eyed fans took to the comments on the post to call out Kanye, as they accused him of trying to recreate his controversial music video Famous from 2016. “I feel like we seen this bed before,” one commented, as another added: “Reminds me of the big bed from the famous video.
Kanye dropped the Famous track eight years ago to a huge backlash, as the video featured scarily lifelike statues of famous people sleeping naked in a large white bed. Among the celebrity doppelgangers in the video were Kanye’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian, former US President Donald Trump, Rihanna, Caitlyn Jenner, Bill Cosby, George Bush, Chris Brown and Taylor Swift.
The Cruel Summer hitmaker’s inclusion in the video was worsened by the mention of her name in the track, in which Kanye raps: “I feel like, me and Taylor might still have sex/Why? I made that b***h famous.” The Grammy-winning singer denied she had given Kanye approval to use her name in the song, prompting Kim to release a video of her then-husband calling Taylor to discuss the lyrics and get permission.
In an interview with Time magazine last year, Taylor said she went into hiding when the row between her, Kanye and Kim erupted, and was scared to answer the phone in case she was being recorded. “Make no mistake, my career was taken away from me. That took me down psychologically to a place I’ve never been before,” she explained, admitting that she “moved to a foreign country” for a year to recover.
While many of Kanye’s fans were quick to point out the comparison between his post and the Famous video, others were simply surprised that Bianca had clothes on. “Why’s she got more clothes on in bed than when she goes outside,” one quipped, as another joked: “She’s clothed.” His post comes just days after he was criticised for exposing Bianca’s bare bum during an outing in Los Angeles. Arriving at The Cheesecake Factory at The Grove, the rapper grabbed his wife’s behind before pulling down her lime green leggings for the cameras, leaving her visibly uncomfortable.
