The Princess of Wales, who has been navigating a challenging year, is facing significant internal struggles despite her composed exterior.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Nicholl shared her insights on Kate's current state. "The princess has this sort of swan-like quality about her — she’s gliding on the surface — but beneath the water, I think often she’s paddling quite frantically," Nicholl explained.

Nicholl emphasized the immense effort Kate has put into her recent public appearance. "I can only imagine that a huge amount of preparation, time, effort, and energy went into Saturday’s appearance," she added.

During the event, Kate was on her feet for an extended period. At one point, she was offered a seat while watching the parade, which she gratefully accepted. This gesture highlighted her current physical limitations. "That’s just a bit of an acknowledgment that she is not as strong, not as fit, as she was before she went into this treatment," Nicholl noted.

For those unaware, this marks Kate’s first return to public duties since she announced her battle against cancer earlier in 2024.
