  However, recent revelations suggest Meghan received a stern warning about her marriage to Prince Harry from Wendell Pierce, her former co-star on Suits and a close friend.

During an appearance on Who’s Talking with Chris Wallace, Wendell Pierce disclosed that he had cautioned Meghan Markle about the life-changing impact of joining the royal family. Reflecting on their last night of work together, Pierce recalled saying to Meghan, “Your life is going to change, and you’re going to be in a bubble, but just always remember, no matter what, I’m your friend — you have lots of friends.”

He emphasized their ongoing support, stating, “We’re always thinking about you, we’ll always be there for you. And you know, no matter where you are, always know you have a friend in me.” These sentiments, reported by OK! magazine, underscored Pierce’s enduring friendship with Meghan.

According to Daily Mail, Wendell Pierce, 60, who portrayed Meghan's father on Suits, reaffirmed his bond with the Duchess during the 2024 Tony Awards in New York. He also commented on Meghan and Harry’s relationship amid persistent rumors of divorce, noting, “They look very much in love and were very happy, so that’s the most important thing.”
