As you maaaay have heard, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are getting divorced after just two years of marriage. Which we can all agree is...not a long amount of time!

When it comes to what went wrong, there are a million sources who will not stop talking about it over this way, but apparently the couples' issues started during their honeymoon in Lake Como, Italy.

Quick reminder, Jen and Ben went on honeymoon in August 2022, and were followed by paparazzi pretty much the entire time. Which isn't exactly surprising given Lake Como is a pretty touristy spot, but apparently Ben wasn't into it!

"He was unhappy with paparazzi following them," a source tells Page Six. "She is an international superstar, and he acted like it came as a surprise that they would be followed around."

And while the pair seemed happy enough in the photos that were taken, apparently things weren't as rosy behind the scenes. "They would barely speak to each other during what was supposed to be the happiest time of their life," the insider adds. "He sold her on him being a changed man, and that lasted a very short time."

The source also noted, in part, that Ben didn't want Jen's entourage around and "all the drama that comes with that in his home."

Anyway! Ben and Jen still haven't put out a statement confirming the end of their relationship, but thanks to Jen's divorce filing, plenty of details are public. Like the fact that they don't seem to have a prenup...

Another twist in the Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck divorce ... she wants to drop his last name ... in favor of her maiden name.

TMZ obtained the divorce docs Jen filed Tuesday, and she checked the box to have her name restored to Jennifer Lynn Lopez.

J Lo took Ben's last name as her own when they tied the knot back in July 2022 ... but now that she's filed to officially pull the plug on the marriage, it seems she's over being an Affleck.

Jen filed her divorce docs as Jennifer Lynn Affleck -- her legal name -- but she's requesting a change here.

TMZ broke the story ... J Lo beelined it to L.A. Country Superior Court and filed divorce docs pro per, meaning by herself and without an attorney ... on what would have been their 2-year wedding anniversary.

Jen's divorce filing makes no mention of a prenup ... and our sources tell us there is NO prenuptial agreement, which is a bit of a shocker with these two.

As we've told you, Jen and Ben have been trying to hash out a settlement for months, and while our sources say those talks are continuing, we're told they have become increasingly acrimonious ... to the point where Jen and Ben at times were not even speaking to each other.

Jen looking to shed the Affleck name seems to underscore the bitter feelings between them.
