Meghan Markle make Victoria Beckham cringe with one of her outfits during her Colombian tour? Meghan wore this ensemble during the Responsible Digital Future panel discussion—basically another excuse for her to give the world more word salad, right? Notice something about it? That’s right, she’s wearing a silk shirt in brown by Victoria Beckham. And when you look at the aftermath, thanks to my good friend Meghan’s Mall, it’s clear that Meghan Markle might not be too happy with these photos. Multiple sweat stains are visible, and as BAIS pointed out, Victoria Beckham is likely cringing at how Meghan styled her blouse. 

Now, let’s talk about those sweat stains—from her stomach to her crotch. This is definitely not the kind of PR Victoria Beckham would want. Imagine the tagline: “Wear Victoria Beckham and look good... sweating in them.” Yeah, not exactly what a fashion house aims to promote, right? Meghan might have been trying to say, “I can wear Victoria Beckham too, look at me!” But, unfortunately, it didn’t quite work out, especially when she ended up sweating through the whole thing.

What’s even more shocking is how Meghan and Harry are now trying to spin this narrative. According to Page Six, they’re claiming that Meghan is a pal of Victoria Beckham’s and was repping her brand during the Colombian tour. Knock knock, Page Six—it’s me, Steph the Alter Nerd. Victoria Beckham is not a pal of Meghan Markle. In fact, just a few months ago, a new book by biographer Tom Bower, *The House of Beckham*, revealed that Meghan actually believed she had a higher social ranking than Victoria.

In Meghan’s world, social status is about wealth and influence. She deluded herself into thinking that her royal status put her above Victoria in the social pecking order. But she was soon to discover that the Beckhams, with their five homes, private jets, yacht invitations, and substantial wealth, had far more than she did. Jealousy was there from the beginning, and now Page Six is trying to spin this into a friendship? I don’t think so.

But when you put all the evidence together, it’s clear that Victoria Beckham and Meghan Markle are not pals. Meghan might be trying to spin the narrative, saying, “Look, I’m wearing Victoria Beckham, we’re friends, we’re cool,” but we see right through that. 

Victoria Beckham is definitely not going to use this in any promotional material for her fashion line. Imagine: “Dress like a duchess, sweat like a duchess—clothing by Victoria Beckham.” As far as I’m concerned, Victoria Beckham would cringe seeing Meghan wearing her clothing like this. It’s tasteless, and honestly, what a joke.
