Oh, how times have changed.
In the early months of Bennifer 2.0, Jennifer Lopez was known for keeping her beau close to her heart with jewelry that spelled out his name: here a “Ben” necklace, there an “Affleck” nameplate.
But now that the red carpet power couple‘s marriage is kaput, J.Lo’s using her outfits to make a very different sort of statement.
“I gotta send you the shirt,” the scribe, who sells the tees in his online store, commented on Lopez’s post.
J.Lo’s second slide featured another pointed mantra: “Everything is unfolding in divine order.”
In another snap from the post — captioned, “Oh, it was a summer” — Lopez shows Affleck what he’s missing with a spicy swimsuit selfie, showing off her famous derrière in her go-to white one-piece.
While Lopez didn’t file for divorce from Affleck until Aug. 20 (the exact date of their second wedding anniversary) so as to “take a stand,” as a source told Page Six, she listed their date of separation as April 26 in the court documents.
And as evident by her latest Instagram upload, the “Hustlers” actress spent most of the summer away from her ex, even celebrating her 55th birthday in July with an opulent “Bridgerton”-themed bash sans Affleck.
“She’s very disappointed and sad, but Ben hasn’t given her any signs that he wants to continue their marriage,” an insider told People last month. “He hasn’t shown any commitment and interest in making their marriage work. It’s gotten to the point that she just needs to look out for herself.”
It would appear she’s now doing just that.
