Alleged text messages from Blake Lively to her It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni have surfaced, with the actress reportedly calling herself "flirty" and a "ballbuster."
The pair, who shared the screen in the 2024 movie adaptation of Colleen Hoover's novel about domestic abuse, received acclaim from critics and box office success last year. However, following the film's release, they became embroiled in a bitter legal battle.
Blake has taken legal action against Justin, accusing him of sexual harassment and claiming his PR team tried to tarnish her reputation.
In response, Justin has launched a whopping £321 million counter-lawsuit against Blake and her husband Ryan Reynolds, alleging that the Hollywood duo is out to "destroy" his reputation and career. This week, it emerged that Blake and Ryan's legal team filed a notice indicating their intention to seek dismissal of Justin's lawsuit, adhering to Judge Lewis Linman's court order on how the case should proceed.
An exchange purportedly from Blake read she was "flirty" and later added: "It's my love language. Spicy and playfully bold, never with teeth", allegedly discussing a steamy scene in an upcoming film, where Blake repeatedly referred to herself as a "ballbuster".
The Mail reportedly got its hands on these texts, believed to be part of the evidence submitted by Justin's legal team.
Spanning from January 2019 to January 2024, the correspondence involves 168 pages of emails, text messages, and WhatsApp chats, mainly between Justin and Blake, with some interactions including Wrexham AFC owner Ryan.
Ryan allegedly expressed his adoration for Justin in one message, revealing that he and his spouse are ardent admirers. In a different conversation, Blake reportedly labelled Justin as "the best" when they were talking about a romantic movie sequence.

Additional leaks include what's thought to be a Valentine's Day 2023 text from Blake assuring Justin he is "safe" with her, to which he supposedly responded with a heart emoji after it was suggested he had considered apologising for an overzealous remark.
By May of that year, Blake is believed to have described herself as a ballbuster, clarifying it's because the project "means a lot to me". She supposedly texted him after a day on set: "You were terrific. I'm proud of everything we did today, but really every day."
These supposed text exchanges have surfaced following Blake's accusations against Justin of sexual harassment and an orchestrated campaign by PRs to tarnish her reputation after their collaboration on a romantic film. Subsequently, Justin filed a lawsuit against Blake and her husband Ryan for £321 million, accusing them of trying to "destroy" his reputation and career.
It has now been reported that Blake and Ryan's legal team have submitted a notice indicating their intention to dismiss Justin's lawsuit. This move aligns with Judge Lewis Linman's court order, which detailed the proceedings of the case.
The movie co-stars were not required to attend the pretrial meeting at federal court in Manhattan on Monday.
