Lizzo fans had reason to rejoice late on Thursday night after she released her first new song in two years.

The 36-year-old singer and rapper dropped her new single Love In Real Life, as well as an accompanying music video, after teasing the new tune in recent days.

The advance single will be featured on an upcoming album of the same name, which is set to be released later this year.

The start of Lizzo's 'new era' comes after multiple backup dancers sued her for alleged sexual harassment, which she has denied.

But in December of last year, a judge removed Lizzo as a defendant in the case.

More recently, the hitmaker has been highlighting her extraordinary weight loss as she has been rumored by fans to have used Ozempic-like weight-loss drugs to achieve the incredible results.

In her Love In Real Life video, Lizzo has a night out at the club that goes horribly wrong.

She's introduced in a long stone corridor that looks as if it could have been part of a castle.

She sits at a vanity with a tall mirror while wearing a low-cut pink bustier and a dressing gown with pink feathered sleeves.

The singer–songwriter, who sports frizzy, mussed hair, sings directly into the camera as it spins past her and peers through the mirror into her face.

Then the vanity unexpectedly begins moving down the hall while Lizzo is still seated at it.

Suddenly, the video cuts to Lizzo in the passenger seat of a classic Cadillac as a friend drives her through what looks like an old European city.

They make their way to a club, where Lizzo dances up a storm in a brown-and-black patchwork leather jacket, a plunging black crop top and sheer black cropped pants.

But the dancers who worked in concert with her begin to start leering at her and making aggressive motions as she starts to think something is amiss.

Having their say: Lizzo's former back-up dancers (L–R) Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams and Noelle Rodriguez appeared on Newsmax on Thursday with attorney Ron Zambrano to respond after the singer denied claims in their sexual harassment lawsuit against her

Just as it looks as if they're about to attack her, Lizzo makes a run for it down a long corridor until she's back on the city streets.

But as she runs down a cobblestone street, the other dancers cut off her only exit and advance.

She sees that something is seriously wrong then, as their faces all appear to have melted thanks to prosthetics.

But Lizzo seems to resolve to make the best of a bad situation. She stops running, squeezes her eyes closed, and as soon as she opens them she and the melting zombies start dancing in unison again.

Finally, her female friend returns in the Cadillac and she hops on the hood as she continues getting down.

The new music comes after three former back-up dancers sued Lizzo for sexual harassment and discrimination in 2023.

Lizzo dismissed the claims from the sexual harassment lawsuit in a statement posted to Instagram shortly after the lawsuit was filed.

She insisted the claims were untrue and alleged that accusers had previously been warned about their own 'inappropriate and unprofessional' conduct.

She also finally addressed shocking banana sex act allegations, in which the women claimed Lizzo invited cast members to eat bananas from nude performers' vaginas while in Amsterdam.

She was later dropped from their lawsuit.

Fans will have a chance to see Lizzo try out her new music in three upcoming shows — March 12 in LA, March 16 in New York and March 18 in Minneapolis — with ticket presales beginning on March 5.
