The annual Met Gala is always one of the more glamorous events of the year, though Kim Kardashian showed off the painful side of the bash.
The 44-year-old reality star's preparations for the event were showcased in the second episode of The Kardashians' sixth season that debuted on Wednesday night, which comes after Kim revealed one of her sisters almost quit the show.
The 2024 Met Gala theme was 'The Garden of Time,' inspired by a story by J.G. Ballard, with Kim rocking a unique metal dress from John Galliano, the fashion director for Maison Margiela.
The unique outfit also required Kim to wear an incredibly tight corset, which she admitted was incredibly painful, as fans saw for themselves as she revealed all the marks on her back after taking off the corset.
Stapleton was stunned, adding she, 'never complains,' adding everyone talked about, 'how small your waist was,' as Kim explained why the look was so painful.
'I had to sit at two different points,' Kim said, admitting she was going to, 'sneak out at two different points before the dinner.'
'And I walked by Anna's (Wintour) table and Anna goes, "Perfect, you're here! Can you sit in my seat while I go make my rounds?'

Kim agreed to that, as she breathed sighs of relief as the painful silver corset was taken off, as she said, 'Oh my God,' asking someone to take a snap of her back.
Her back was bright red, with the holes and threads of the corset embedded into her back, as a producer asked if the pain was worth it.
'Abso-f***ing-lutely. Yes. That's just who I am. If you look good, it's all worth it,' Kim said in confession.
She also said that her own look was her favorite at the Met, adding, 'No, I'm serious. It's not often I feel that way.
Stapleton then asked what she would change about her look, and she said, 'The line of my sweater.
