A South African groom has become an internet sensation after he performed his marital rites with his bride from his hospital bed.

From news gathered, the couple had been set to marry on that date but prior to the occasion, the groom fell ill and was admitted.

The family didn’t want to change the date so they liaised with staff of the hospital so the wedding could be conducted there.

They had a great time despite the state of the groom, getting married with family and friends present.
