Just a few months after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot on May 19, 2018, Harry’s cousin, Princess Eugenie, walked down the aisle in St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle to marry her long-term boyfriend, Jack Brooksbank.

As the pair waited for the ceremony to begin in St George’s Chapel, the Duchess of Sussex seemed to be telling off her husband while they sat waiting for the bride’s entrance. Footage shows Harry interrupted his wife as she chatted to his other cousin, Zara Tindall, and in turn, Meghan appeared to fire a few words back at him, gesticulating, before turning away from him to continue speaking with Zara. Body language expert Judi James noted their facial expressions during the exchange. Judi said: “Harry appears to be anxious and fidgety when they sit in their pew seats, rocking about and fiddling with the tails of his jacket.”

“Meghan looks calmer and politely sociable, chatting in a much more demure way to Zara in the seat in front. Harry starts to talk to her and she performs a subtle eye-dart to her left, a bit like a mother whose kid is trying to interrupt her grown-up conversation.

“She turns to Harry and seems to have a slightly firmer conversation, raising her hands and then bringing them together and using a small head-baton gesture for emphasis. Meghan leans back towards Zara, resuming her polite social smile along with their conversation.”

The body language expert described how Harry then “chews his lips and leans into the side of his seat like a child that has just been told to sit still”.

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s wedding took place on October 12, 2018, and it came just a few months after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot at the same venue.

The Duke and Duchess also used the get-togethers surrounding the marriage in 2018 as an opportunity to share their own good news – about Meghan’s pregnancy with Archie.

In Spare, Harry wrote: “The various gatherings connected to the wedding would give us a chance to pull aside family members one by one and tell them our good news.”

However, as depicted in the book ‘Revenge: Meghan, Harry And The War Between The Windsors’, author Tom Bower wrote: “Many wondered why Meghan chose to reveal her news on the bride’s big day.”

Harry and Meghan’s official baby announcement to the public, however, was released by Kensington Palace days later on October 15, 2018.
