Meghan Markle’s birthday reportedly took a humiliating turn after Hollywood legend Robert De Niro allegedly rejected a lavish “HRH-themed” gift basket sent by the Duchess herself. 

According to insiders, the luxury package—meant to celebrate her former royal title—was delivered to De Niro’s team ahead of Meghan’s birthday in hopes of sparking goodwill or a public acknowledgment.

But the actor wasn’t having it. Sources claim De Niro flatly refused the gesture, reportedly saying, “Keep it, I don’t care,” sending a clear and cutting message. 

The public snub has sparked a wave of embarrassment for Meghan, with critics calling it her “worst birthday shame yet.” 

As Hollywood continues to distance itself from royal drama, it appears not everyone is buying into the Sussex brand—especially when it comes with a side of lost titles.
