Meghan Markle accused of using Prince Harry as a “stepping stone”
A source close to the late Queen Elizabeth II said she once suspected that Meghan Markle’s relationship with Prince Harry was not out of love, but as a stepping stone to fame and money.
Former Hollywood actress Meghan Markle shocked the world when she married Prince Harry in 2018. But according to the latest revelation from royal commentator Phil Dampier, both Prince William and Queen Elizabeth II once expressed concerns about Meghan’s true motives for entering the British Royal Family.
Mr Dampier quoted Lady Elizabeth Anson – a close friend of the late Queen and said: “I think, unfortunately, this confirms what I have thought for years: Meghan probably never really intended to be a long-term member of the Royal Family. Marrying Prince Harry, in her (the Queen’s) eyes, was like a stepping stone to fame and fortune.”
Not Only The Queen, But Prince William Was Also Said To Have Expressed Concerns That Meghan Markle Joined The Royal Family For Personal Reasons. This Reportedly Caused Tension Between The Two Princes For A Long Period Of Time.
Shortly After Dampier’s Remarks, A Source Close To Meghan Fiercely Denied The Claims Through Page Six: “Dampier’s Opinion Is Nothing More Than Baseless Speculation. No One, Including Him Or The Sun, Can Possibly Know The Duchess’s True Intentions.”
However, The Reality Is That Just Two Years After Their Fairytale Wedding In Windsor, Meghan And Prince Harry Announced Their Decision To Step Back From Royal Duties In 2020 And Moved To The United States With Their Firstborn Son, Archie. Not Long After, The Couple Welcomed Their Daughter, Lilibet, And Began A New Life In California Marked By A Distinct “Celebrity” Lifestyle.
Their Life Away From The Palace Has Never Stopped Stirring Controversy, Especially As Inside Details About The Royal Family Gradually Emerged Through Interviews, Documentaries, And Prince Harry’s Memoir Spare.
