The Kebbi State Police Command has arrested two men for being in possession of human skull at the Danko Wasagu Local government Area of the state. The Kebbi State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Ibrahim M. Kabiru, said that the suspects, aside from being in possession of human skull, also had firearms. According to Kabiru, the suspects, Sanusi Haruna and Monde Wande, would be charged to court. Kabiru, who used the opportunity to disclose the achievements of the command, said that achievements were recorded within three months. He said that in the months under review, some kidnappers were arrested after they invaded the house of Emmanuel David in Danhaya village.
They kidnapped his wife, Maryam Emmanuel and his baby and took them to unknown destination. Kabiru said: “Two suspects, Isah Hansti and Gambo Magawata, both from Bena Danko Wasagu Local Government Area were arrested in connection with the abductions.
They have been charged to court and remanded in prison custody.” Kabiru, who further pointed out that 52 and 48 years old men were arrested in connection with car robberies in the state, added that the two suspects invaded the house of Alhaji Modi Gwandu, of Gwandu town and robbed him of his Toyota corolla LE, with Registration number GWN 174MX. The car is valued at N1, 500,000.
