PSG have rejected a new offer from Barcelona for Neymar.
Marca says Barcelona had made a bid to take him on loan before having the option to buy for €150m next summer, but that has been rebuffed by PSG.
The French side value the forward at €250m and want guarantees that Barcelona would exercise this option to buy if a deal was agreed.
Both parties will continue talks in the next few days.
An obligation to buy would make things complicated for Barcelona because they need to balance their books for the season.
