A transgender has taken to Twitter to share a photo taken from his hospital bed after womb removal surgery.
"First bottom surgery done and I'm uterus free!!!!" the transgender wrote.
He added: "Uterus Deletus was a success and this trans man got the gender affirming care he needed. so grateful for it all."
The Twitter user, who was born biologically female, had been undergoing hormone therapy and now has a beard.
