Word on the grapevine is that Harry was spotted at a celebrity hotspot club in Los Angeles, leaving his wife Meghan all alone on their sixth wedding anniversary, no less.
Reports have emerged this week that Harry paid a visit to the exclusive, members-only Beverly Hills Bungalows club during a night out in LA.
This ultra-swanky establishment in Beverly Hills is said to be the hottest A-list spot, attracting the likes of Justin Bieber, Kim Kardashian, and NBA stars when they're in town. Entry is by invitation only, and the club is shrouded in secrecy to maintain its exclusive vibe. Eyewitness accounts place Harry there on Wednesday, May 18th – which just so happened to be his and Meghan's sixth wedding anniversary.
Now, I don't know about you, but that sure seems like an odd choice to make, given the significance of the date. One can only imagine Meghan, back home in Montecito, wondering where her husband had disappeared to on their anniversary, no less.
Reports describe him mixing and laughing with these women for a couple of hours before eventually departing in the early hours of the morning.
Again, I have to wonder – didn't Harry think Meghan might have preferred her husband celebrating their anniversary at home with her, rather than partying with other women till the wee hours?
Now, we've no way of knowing for sure what was really going on in that conversation, or if it was entirely innocent. But the optics of it definitely don't look great – a husband leaving his wife on their wedding anniversary to hang out at an exclusive Hollywood bar, socializing closely with unrelated young females.
If the roles were reversed, and it was Meghan spotted doing that, you just know the criticism and scrutiny would be endless. There'd be immediate accusations of marriage troubles or rumors of infidelity, no doubt.
Of course, it's important not to jump to conclusions, but Harry's actions here are definitely curious to say the least, and do make you wonder if all is well behind closed doors for the Sussex marriage.
We've known for a while that tensions seem to exist, with Harry still bitter about Megxit and his ongoing family dramas. Many speculate Meghan also struggles adjusting fully to life in America, away from her UK support system.
So could Harry's behavior that night point to deeper issues? Is this a marriage experiencing strains that he felt the need to flee from for a night on the town? Was Meghan upset to be left alone on such a special date?
I'm sure we'll never get a straight answer from the couple's people, who will no doubt divert or downplay it.
But one thing's for sure – a more observant husband would probably choose his activities more wisely on his anniversary, especially to avoid any whiff of scandal.
