A Nigerian woman has accused a doctor in Abuja of stealing one of her twins after she was given only one baby following delivery, despite scan results confirming she was pregnant with twins.
The allegation was shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) by user @ChuksEricE. According to the woman, a scan conducted during her pregnancy clearly showed she was expecting twins.
Her suspicions deepened when she later spotted the doctor’s wife at a children’s hospital with a baby who looked exactly like the one she believed was missing.
In her statement, she said: “During my pregnancy, a scan at the hospital showed I was expecting twins. But after delivery, I was only given one baby and told the other had died.”
“When I asked for the body, they claimed it was too damaged to identify. I became suspicious. Later, I saw my doctor’s wife at a children’s hospital with a child who looked exactly like mine.”
