Man stabs his wife to death inside a divorce court

An American man has been arrested for fatally stabbing his wife inside of the lobby of a divorce court in Japan.

The 32-year-old U.S. citizen aggressively approached his wife, Kyoko Wilson, 31, at the entrance to Tokyo Family Court. The stabe wound the wife suffered in her neck led to her death after she was rushed to a local hospital.

After stabbing his wife, the unidentified man was found by police in Hibiya Park with a slit wrist and was transported to hospital for treatment.

Three foldable knives and bottles containing a flammable liquid were found in his possession.

Police say they are withholding the man’s identity due to concerns about his mental health.
